Situated in Charmouth on the Jurassic Coast just 2 miles from Lyme Regis, Hensleigh House Charmouth provides quality bed and breakfast, 300 metres from the famous fossil beach. In Lyme Regis family rooms are often in short supply. However, we have two family rooms each with two bedrooms enabling parents and children to have a little privacy. With Charmouth beach a 3 minute walk, and Lyme Regis two miles away, you are perfectly located for a great family holiday.

We were extremely lucky to have found our own section of Ichthyosaur (Sea Dragon) vertebrae on Charmouth West Beach. It has now been renamed the 'Hensleighsaur' and is on display at Hensleigh House.

There are 'public walks' which are lower cost, but where you could be in a large group of people, and 'private walks' where you hire a guide exclusively for yourself and your family. Our standard terms are a two night minimum stay (three nights during some public and school holidays). However, we occasionally have single night availability midweek for twin and double rooms only. These are only bookable within 7 days of the stay, and must be booked direct. All family rooms have a two or three night minimum stay. Our more flexible terms such as single occupancy rates are only available for DIRECT BOOKINGS.
