Our aim is to make your stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.

Hensleigh House is a privately run bed and breakfast in the pretty West Dorset village of Charmouth, just two miles from Lyme Regis. Situated just 300 metres from the famous tranquil beach and it’s fossils, it's the ideal location for a relaxing break away from the stresses of life.

We offer 8 en-suite rooms each with tea and coffee facilities with super local biscuits, and television. Double and twin rooms are available, as well as a lovely single room, and two 'family suites' which each provide two bedrooms and bathroom. We have one ground floor room, which is an excellent choice for those who have trouble with stairs.

Check in Times

Check in is from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. If you arrive early please ring the doorbell, if we are here and your room is available we will gladly check you in. If not you are welcome to use the car park and visit the beach or pubs and restaurants. Guests are asked to check out by 10:30am on their final day.
